Writing for Creativity Workshop
"At an individual level, creativity can lead to personal fulfilment and positive academic and professional outcomes, and be therapeutic." Kirstin Weir, American Psychology Association
We know that creative activities are good for us. Neuroscience affirms this, and as a society we recognise it through the creative activities our children are encouraged to do, in school and out.
But let's talk about YOU. When was the last time you tried a creative activity just for the sake of it?
Welcome to this Writing for Creativity workshop!
It's simple. Creativity is a skill, and like any other skill, the more you practice, the better you get.
In five minutes you can expect to:
- Lose yourself in the mindful process of creative writing, as I guide you through an imaginative exercise.
- Explore how writing creatively about real-life can offer new insight, perspective and even solutions.
- Finish with a sense of achievement, calm and satisfaction which will in turn leave you with a heightened feeling of wellbeing.
.All you need is pen, paper and an open mind.
